Community Involvement

Our doctors and staff are dedicated to our local communities that we call home and actively participate in a variety of practice-sponsored community service events. You can often see one of our staff members at area school events such as a musical production or athletic game. Our practice suports the Central New York community through charitable donations of time and products, improving dental health awareness through school presentations, and sponsoring a variety of academic, athletic and other activities at local schools. 

Youth Sports

Bassin & Hession Orthodontics sponsors various local sports teams in or near the communities of Oneida, Norwich and New Hartford. To the left is a photo of our Sherrill Softball team. This year the sponsor fee helped pay for the new catcher's equipment for this team. To the right is a photo of players from the Unadilla Valley Youth boys and girls teams.

Mentoring Future Hygienists

Drs. Jeffrey Bassin, Timothy Hession and Dan Bassin volunteer their time and orthodontic expertise to mentor dental hygiene students at the SUNY Canton/ MVCC Dental Hygiene Program at the Rome campus. All three doctors are very pleased to assist in the training and development of these future dental health care professionals.
