Free Consultation. Our initial visit included complimentary examiniation and records. This involves digital x-rays and photographs. After you examiniation, we provide you with detailed treatment options including: length of treatment, payment options, and insurance considerations. This first visit usually lasts about an hour.

Drs Bassin, Hession, and Bassin are Orthodontics Specialists. Although many dental professionals provide orthodontic care, at Bassin & Hession Orthodontics it's our specialty.

Leading Edge Technology. Our office uses the latest technologies including digital records and radiographs. We are proud to one of only three practices in New York State to offer SureSmile advanced digital orthodontic treatment to our patients. Our newer sterilization units are monitored monthly by an outside testing agency for your health and peace of mind. All sterilization procedures followed in our office are set forth by the CDC and the American Dental Association.

Cleft Palette Team Dr's Bassin, Hession and Bassin have devoted over 35 years in helping to treat patients with cleft palate and other congenital dentofacial problems. Most of these patients require multiple phases of orthodontic treatment to help develop normal facial balance and improved dental and naso-oral function.

The three Doctors are members of the University Hospital Cleft Palate Team. The Doctors have taken care of many patients in an 8 County area in Central New York  extending from south of Binghimton, west of Cortland, East of Oneonta and Little Falls, and north above Old Forge.

T- Link. We understand how hectic day to day life can become, so for your convenience we provide T-link. T-link is our automated messaging system that calls your home reminding you of the appointment scheduled with us the next day. It also allows you access to account balances and appointments from the privacy of your home, via the internet or a touch - tone telephone.
